As a Māori-owned company, Kiwa develops CultureQ on the AWS platform, applying the AWS Māori Data Lens, informed by te Ao Māori principles, across the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Role Overview

Were hiring a permanent Cloud Developer for the CultureQ team. This is a chance to work with globally impactful, cutting-edge technology. Youll need AWS Well-Architected Framework knowledge, an AWS technical certification, and a commitment to te Ao Māori values.

Key Responsibilities

1. Complete assigned tasks in developing, optimising, packaging, and deploying applications, using CI/CD workflows

2. Implement new features and enhancements to existing applications.

3. Build user-friendly interfaces using Java and Visual Studio.

4. Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure performance and quality.

5. Stay up to date with new technologies and contribute to R&D.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

2. AWS technical certification.

3. Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.

4. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

5. Eligible to work permanently in New Zealand.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, and IDEs like Visual Studio.

2. Familiarity with Git and MySQL.

3. Understanding of UI/UX principles.
