Our WM Technical Services (TS) Division is a specialist team of highly qualified staff with purpose-built processing facilities and specialised Dangerous Goods transport. We process hazardous and liquid wastes safely and with full compliance to government and council laws and by-laws governing liquid and hazardous waste disposal.

Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Production Technician to join our team.

In this role, you will be reporting to our Operations Supervisor - Production, assisting our team with the treatment and disposal of liquid and hazardous waste in a safe and responsible manner. The role will involve analysis and direction of incoming products, and operation and monitoring of plant and equipment. A key responsibility of the role is to assist with chemical treatment activities on site. You will support HSE requirements within the plant.

Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or similar
  • Experience: Preferable to have experience in production, manufacturing, or the waste treatment industry.
  • Experience and relevant licencing with forklifts, loaders and excavators are desirable.
