Te Haeata/The Opportunity
The Ministry of Justice Te Tāhū o te Ture is seeking a Communications Advisor for 6 months on a Fixed Term basis to deliver end-to-end communication services across the Ministry. An immediate start would be ideal!
As a Communications Advisor, youll play a key role in supporting communications activities across the Ministry, including:
- developing and implementing communications plans for various projects
- managing the communications inbox
- coordinating and distributing various newsletters
- drafting content for a variety of channels
- web and intranet publishing.
Ō pūkenga |Skills and Experience
Reporting to the Manager Communications Delivery, in the Communications and Ministerial Services team, the successful candidate will have:
- previous experience in a similar role
- strong writing skills and the ability to turn complex information into accessible content
- excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- a collaborative approach and a passion for public sector communications
- an understanding of communicating diverse audiences
- a can-do attitude and desire to learn.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary range for this role is $73,634 to $100,846 depending on skills and experience.
