About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga
- We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Customer Strategy and Channel Management team in Wellington.
- Full time permanent role
- Based in Wellington
The Senior Analyst reports to the Manager Customer Strategy and Channel Management. This role is is part of a team that interrogates data and makes insights available throughout the Ministry and to the public.
As the he Senior Analyst you will also develop tools to ensure regional staff can access the data they need when they need it.
Salary range: $99,496 - $120,690 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.
About you | Mōhou ake
To be effective in this role you will need to have significant analytical experience and a proven ability to access data from a range of datasets to produce easily understood insights.You will also offer:
- Significant coding experience
- Proven experience with business intelligence tools
- The ability to communicate complex concepts and evidence to a variety of audiences, both in writing and verbally
- An affinity for working collaboratively with internal customers and other stakeholders to determine needs, obtain information, develop approaches, and communicate results
- A proven track record in the delivery of complex analysis
- The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
In this role you will be a member of a small dedicated team of analysts working hard to ensure our frontine decision makers have the data and insights they need to make a difference.
About our group and team | Mātau rōpū ake
The Data and Insights group within Te Pae Aronui | Integration & Operations is the centralised point through which information form the sector, takiwā, and communities flow into Te Mahau and Te Tāhuhu. We are responsible for leading the collection, storage, analysis and communication of evidence-based insights and information.
The Customer Strategy and Channel Management team works with the wider Te Pae Aronui group to disseminate its research and statistical information. This means working with our regions to ensure they have access to the data they need, and making our data and insights available to them, and developing tools to support the public getting the information they need.
