About our Data, Analytics, AI & Insights Team

About the role

We are hiring an enthusiastic dynamic Data Solution Architect to focus on architecting and building a robust and scalable data platform which fit for both our analytics and AI purpose. You design and build high-quality data solutions to enable strategic data products for Genesis.

This role will take ownership of our data and AI architecture roadmap and strategy. Working with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in data management and governance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our data architecture meets the enterprises strategic needs and enabling Genesis to hit our business goals and strategy. We deal with a wide variety of complex data including transactional, operational, financial, regulatory, customer, behavioural, events, and employees.

In this role you will;

• Lead the development of fit-for-purpose data solutions that align with business requirements, technology selection, and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Data & AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and IT teams to balance short-term and long-term needs.
• Produce high-quality documentation, including High-Level Solution Designs and Data Solution Architecture documents.
• Provide technical guidance and consultancy services to internal teams.
• Actively participate in governance forums to ensure ongoing conformity to enterprise roadmaps and technology standards.

About you

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Data Solution Architect who is committed to using data to drive business value and strategic decision-making.

Our ideal candidate will have;

• A focus on creating tangible value for the business
• Extensive experience in data architecture or a similar role.
• A proven track record of solving complex problems related to data management and architecture.
• Experience with Azure cloud and expertise in modern data technologies such as Azure Databricks, Delta Lakes, and Cloud Data warehouses.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning concepts.
• Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
